to Scrapbooking Memories
I have always, for as long as I can remember, been drawn to anything bright, shiny, flowery and colourful. When I was a young girl I used to collect beads and had a tin full of sparkling jewels which I used to swap with my friends. Of course, most of my treasures were old or broken jewellery that had been given to me by my grandmother but to me they were very precious! To this day I still have a collection of beads, but now I use them in scrapbooking and cardmaking which are a couple of my favourite past-times. I have been cardmaking for about 10 years and I started scrapbooking about 5 years ago following a trip to Utah, USA. I love taking photos so it is a great way of displaying all my photos old and new. One of my other favourite past-times is geneaology. I have been given a lot of very old photos of my mother's ancestors and I am currently in the process of scanning them all. I have started a scrapbook album incorporating these photos and any information I know about my ancestors.
I enjoy scrapbooking as I get to keep most of my creations. I still enjoy making cards, and I have recently started crocheting again which usually keeps me quite busy in my spare time! I have used my crochet motifs in a lot of my cards.
I have included a page on this site showing a selection of the cards I have been commissioned to make by friends and family. I hope to add a shop to this site very soon but in the meantime a selection of my cards can be found for sale in my internet shop at:
